So, the good points first:
Definitely the color palette: the dark colors and stark contrast between lights and shadows definitely gave the somber feeling needed for the scene.
Expressions: Nice and mostly subtle, all while still conveying enough emotion to tell the reader what the characters are feeling.
Perspective: close-ups and wide-shots at really good moments!
Now, the points that need some improvement:
Anatomy: first and foremost. That can't be improved by anything but practice, practice, practice!
  Coloring: in the first panel it seems like he's melting into the grey background.
Typesetting: while your writing is readable, it'd be better if you used fonts instead to really give off a more serious and.or professional appeal, y'know? Also, so people can read it better.

All in all, you're doing a pretty decent job, so keep at it and good luck!
